Mr. Weaver began his business career in 1956 managing the Virginia Hurst Farm, Triadelphia, WV (1956-1965), and entered the financial services industry thereafter with Bache & Company (Prudential Bache, Prudential Securities), Wheeling, WV, where he progressively achieved the position of Branch Office Manager (1965-1973). In 1973, Mr. Weaver organized a group of investors to acquire Hazlett, Burt & Watson, where he served as President and CEO for 35 years. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Security National Trust Company (SNTC, an affiliate), and as a member of the Board of Directors, and as President of HB&W, Inc. (the Holding company of Hazlett and SNTC). George S. Weaver, Jr. is currently the Chairman of the Board of Hazlett, Burt & Watson, Inc. and an Investment Advisor with Security Capital Management, a division of Hazlett, Burt & Watson, Inc. (1973-present).
Mr. Weaver attended Yale University, New Haven, CT and Graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Stockbridge School, Amherst, MA in 1955. Mr. Weaver also holds current Licenses Series 1, 40, 63, and 65.
